RekoRetreat – take a break from yourself and your everyday life

Pausing and giving yourself time to land is important.
At Bbeabridge, we arrange nature walks with poles in collaboration with Form & Hälsa and Riksförbundet Stavgång.
Together with RekoRetreat, we also offer workshops, retreats, and courses in nature – including Sylvotherapy (forest and nature therapy) and other health-promoting activities.
Our programs are held in both Sweden and Spain.
You are warmly welcome to join and find your own balance in nature.

When we spend time in nature, healing happens naturally.

You can also explore RekoRetreat. We collaborate on the courses that we organize together with Bbeabridge — click here.

We hike and combine retreats with walking tours — click here to see our hike in Spain in March, click here to see our hike in Galicia, Spain in June, and click here to see our hike in Sweden in August — click here.

In Muel, Aragón, where we usually stay, there is a waterfall. Did you know that: Bbeabridge organize activities. As a member you are welcome with a reduced price.

💧 How many negative ions are found near a waterfall?
At a waterfall, the air can contain between 5,000 and up to 100,000 negative ions per cubic centimeter (cm³) of air — depending on the speed of the water, the volume, and the humidity.

For comparison:

  • In urban environments, there are usually only 100–500 negative ions/cm³.
  • In mountains and forests, there are often 1,000–5,000/cm³.
  • Near waterfalls, ocean waves, or after thunderstorms, the levels can be hundreds of times higher.

🌬️ Why are negative ions good for humans?
Negative ions are tiny, electrically charged molecules that form naturally when air molecules are broken apart by running water, wind, or sunlight.
They have been shown to have several positive effects on both body and mind:

  • Improved oxygen uptake – Negative ions help the blood absorb oxygen more easily, which can increase energy and mental clarity.
  • Stress reduction – They reduce serotonin levels in the blood in a balancing way, promoting calm and better sleep.
  • Cleaner air – They bind to dust, pollen, and pollutants, causing these particles to fall to the ground.
  • Better mood – Many people feel “lighter” and more harmonious in environments with high ion levels, such as near the sea or waterfalls.

This is why many people feel better, breathe more deeply, and experience a greater sense of presence in nature — especially near water.
