Bbeabridge and Rokaya, who for many years have worked in Tensta and Järva within various organizations – including Save the Children and several other local actors – organized a large and well-received event in 2024 together with the Tensta Mothers. Together, they created a beautiful and inclusive program where more than 30 volunteers participated and contributed with dance, food, games, performances, and a strong sense of community. Local associations also took part and collected Christmas gifts for the families, and more than 500 people joined the celebration just before Christmas.
Bbeabridge and Rokaya continue their work for peace, safety, and strengthened community, with a focus on women and children throughout 2025. They carry ideas of creating a meeting place for families – a safe and welcoming space where everyone who wants to contribute and participate is welcome.
The world needs idealists like Rokaya and Bbeabridge – people who, with warmth, courage, and commitment, build bridges and create hope in our communities.
Peace is so important and to achieve it we need to tolerate each others, to see the similarities not the difference. Work in Harmony and acceptance.
